Your Invitation To A Priceless Lifestyle Experience

712 N Casey Key Rd, Osprey, FL 34229

If you’ve ever wondered what luxury living at the water’s edge looks and feels like, then reserve March 4th and 5th on your calendars.  These are the back-to-back dates for the 2011 Masterworks Showcase:  A Tour of Luxury Homes (and lifestyle expo) presented by the Sarasota Orchestra Association, in conjunction with Michael Saunders & Company, Christie’s International Real Estate and Sarasota Magazine.

Your attendance at this outstanding two-day lifestyle event includes a tour of some of the most exclusive estate homes on Casey Key, in The Oaks, on Bird Key and St. Armands.  Proceeds benefit the orchestra’s youth programs.

Even if you already reside at the water’s edge—or aspire to an entirely different lifestyle—this up-close look at ten of the area’s most exceptional waterfront estates is filled with lifestyle advice for everyone, courtesy of some of the area’s best-known celebrity chefs, interior designers, artists, luxury retailers and more.

To kick-off the event in true Sarasota style, tickets are still available to the opening reception on Wednesday March 2nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  With the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico hugging the horizon, you’ll join fellow orchestra supporters as they toast another awe-inspiring Florida sunset; then listen as decorative arts specialist Ann Igelbrink—head of Christie’s European Furniture Department—shares her perspective on the latest trends in collecting.  All from your lofty vantage point inside an exquisite waterfront residence in the Beach Residences at The Ritz-Carlton.

The actual tour of homes includes a pair of itineraries spread over two days.  Aptly called Opus I and Opus II, your donation of $50 covers admission on both days.  A one-day ticket to one or the other is $35.

Opus I features four estate properties on Casey Key; and one in The Oaks. Opus II includes two waterfront homes on Bird Key, two on St. Armands and one in Lido Shores.

Imbedded throughout the homes will be such well-known local personalities as international chef, cookbook author and culinary instructor Giuliano Hazan, restaurateur and Chef Paul Mattison, Executive Sous Chef Fabien Gnemmi—of The Ritz-Carlton; and Bob Weil, cookbook author and Food & Beverage Director at the Longboat Key Club & Resort.

Under the direction of Designer Richard Carpenter, A.S.I.D., Robb & Stucky—the award-winning home furnishings retailer—is showcasing stylish furniture vignettes in one home.  In another, Designer Lynn Hunter, A.S.I.D. will share her knowledge of today’s remodeling and design trends.   From one of the home’s docks, boaters can hop aboard the hottest new Grady White yacht—from Cannons Marina; and from another, the sleek new motor yachts from Marine Max.

Check out the fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue, The Met Fashion House & Spa and The Dream Weaver Collection.  Ladies, be dazzled by a limited edition gem from Sarasota’s family-owned Diamond Vault; and the award-winning designs of Sarasota jewelry designer Harry Roa.

For art lovers, State of the Arts—Sarasota’s finest contemporary fine arts gallery will be displaying original works of art.  You’ll also marvel at the exciting works of renowned underwater videographer Tony Ludovico, whose TonyH20 gallery is now open in Sarasota.  For the kids, freelance writer, poet and children’s book author Julie Woik will sign and sell her books—The Garden Gathering and The Life and Times of Lilly the Lash—in the children’s wing of one of the estate homes.

It’s impossible to mention all the individuals and vendors who have stepped-up to help support the Sarasota Orchestra’s Youth Orchestra.  Please join us for one or both days of the tour.  The lifestyle expo alone is worth the price of admission.  What your contribution will do for the cultural life of our youth and community?  Priceless.

Tickets may be purchased for $35 for one day; or $50 for both,  Tickets are available through March 3rd at sarasotaorchestra.com, at the Sarasota Orchestra box office—located at 709 N. Tamiami Trail; or from the St. Armands office of Michael Saunders & Company—located at 61 S. Blvd. of the Presidents.  Additional locations are listed on the orchestra’s web site.
