“Infinity” Debuts, Bringing New Luxury Construction Back To Longboat Key

InfinityThe buzz in the media was palpable last week when it was announced that Infinity, the first new luxury condominium slated for development on Longboat Key in seven years, is now accepting reservations. That’s because intensified buyer demand for new luxury condominiums on the key has been frustrated by a lack of new construction to fulfill it. Until now.

Infinity, which will occupy a magnificent site on mid-Longboat Key, is offering just 11 beachfront residences designed in a sleek, coastal contemporary style.  Each luxurious residence will face the Gulf of Mexico, enjoy easy access to the beach; and command outstanding views of the Gulf and bay from expansive, oversized terraces.

With prices that begin at $2.825 million, nine of the residences will range in size from 3,380 to 3,638 square feet, with terraces that add an extra 892 to 1,470 square feet of dramatic outdoor living space.  Atop Infinity will be two 5,456 square foot penthouses.

Designed by Mark Sultana, of the award-winning Sarasota architectural firm DSDG, Infinity will be built to all the latest coastal construction codes, while incorporating “Green” building standards to promote maximum energy and cost savings.  Floor-to-ceiling walls of insulated, impact-resistant glass will maximize views of the Gulf while providing a full measure of protection against extremes of inclement weather.

A World of Amenities

Residents of Infinity will enjoy a heated, beachside swimming pool, spa and sun terrace; as well as a complete clubhouse facility—with fitness center, social room and a catering kitchen—which will overlook a manicured lawn and lighted Har-Tru tennis court.

Residents and guests will access Infinity via electronic security gates; then be welcomed into the soaring grand lobby, which includes sweeping views of the Gulf and guest elevator access.  Below the main living levels are private, enclosed two-car garages (three-car garages for penthouses) with automatic doors and direct access to private elevators.  Additionally, there is plenty of convenient parking for guests.

Inside, Infinity’s custom features and finishes include a private elevator lobby for each residence, direct gulf views from all major rooms, expansive 10-foot ceilings (11 feet in penthouses); and architectural tray ceilings with crown moulding in select areas.  Kitchens include Italian-style cabinetry with under-and-over lighting, distinctive granite countertops and backsplashes; and a premium appliance package that includes a Wolf gas range and Sub-Zero refrigerator.  A separate outdoor terrace kitchen includes a built-in gas grill with vented hood and stainless steel sink.

Infinity is being developed by Crossgate Partners, LLC, and sold exclusively through Michael Saunders & Company.  Crossgate Partners is a private real estate investment and development firm whose portfolio of distinctive residential and commercial properties includes luxury condominiums and retail centers throughout Florida and the Southeast.
