A native of Audubon, New Jersey, and longtime resident of York, Pennsylvania, Linda has been a Sarasota County permanent resident since 1992. Michael Saunders is pleased to welcome Sharon Ross to the St. Armands office.
A native of Butler, Pennsylvania, and an alumna of Michigan State University, Sharon relocated to Sarasota in 1983, where she began her career at the Woodlands II at Bent Tree, Prestancia, and The Oaks. She further honed her skills as the leading salesperson for ten years at The Venice Golf and Country Club, where she established her reputation as a knowledgeable specialist who listens carefully and anticipates the desires of discerning buyers. At the completion of the Venice Golf and Country Club, Sharon continued her career with the sale of new homes and home sites at University Park Country Club.
In 2002, Sharon became part of US Assets Groups, selling Orchid Beach Club on Lido Key, where she was responsible for over $73 million in condominium sales in 18 months. Simultaneously, she was involved in the successful sales at Beau Ciel on Sarasota Bay. When The Founders Club, a community and club valued at $425 million, was launched, Sharon, as director of sales, lead the community in a successful opening with 50 percent of the community selling in just 18 months. After her five-year tenure at The Founders Club, Sharon joins the team at Michael Saunders & Company.

Barbara Roberts, managing broker of our St. Armands Circle offices, reports an increase in walk-in activity. During the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the agents of her office noted return customers coming in to inquire about the status of the real estate market.

Recently, St. Armands agent Barbara Dumbaugh received a lead through Trulia.com, one of the web’s most widely viewed real estate resources. Here, she was able to hand select and present a collection of area properties based on the buyer’s requirements for characteristics, amenities and neighborhoods.
